The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has launched the Ghana National Plastics Action Partnership, which seeks to stop the growth of global plastic pollution, and also ensure, amongst others, that plastics do not find their way into the country’s marine bodies.

The Vice President of the Republic, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has cut sod for construction to begin on a new Ghana Army Headquarters Complex at Burma Camp in Accra.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says Ghana is developing a comprehensive primary healthcare package for her citizens, which would mean better health outcomes, lower costs, and healthier families and communities.

“I am aware that the naysayers are trumpeting, in as loud voices as they can muster, their denial of what is happening in front of their very eyes, but I know the Ghanaian people, in their majority, are conscious of the steady progress that is being made despite the difficult circumstances which attended our assumption of office, and, next year, they will have the opportunity so to pronounce.”

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has received the 2019 FOCOS Humanitarian Award, on behalf of the Government and people of Ghana, for the country’s “longstanding support for the Foundation of Orthopaedics and Complex Spine”.
