Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has hailed the innovative strides being made by players and stakeholders in the Ghanaian digital ecosystem, especially in the area of FinTech, saying the technological feats chalked so far vindicate Government’s decision to lay a solid foundation for the digital transformation of the Ghanaian economy for inclusive development.
The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, says, despite the NPP Government creating an unprecedented 2.1 million jobs for the youth in the past 7 years, there is more to be done because there are many young people who need jobs, due to Ghana's growing youth population.
The Vice President and Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has spoken of the significant role the celebration of festivals play in the preservation of Ghana's rich cultural heritage.
About 10,000 businesses owned by young Ghanaian entrepreneurs, as well ad 20,000 youth, are to benefit from the government's Business and Employment Assistance Programme, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed.
The targeted interventions and programmes initiated by Government in the Agriculture sector since 2017 continue to yield significantly positive results and, with comprehensive reviews and upscaling, the objective of food security and resilience should be achieved in the near future, Vice President Bawumia has stated.
