Veep To Attend Ghana-Czech Trade And Investment Forum

The Vice-President,  John Mahama, is expected to leave Accra on Sunday, 7th November, 2010 for the Czech Republic to attend a Ghana-Czech trade and investment forum on the theme, “Ghana’s discovery of oil and gas; Exciting opportunities for business.”

The weeklong forum, which will explore the overall investment climate in Ghana and opportunities in the oil and gas sector, will bring together over 100 delegates comprising government officials, policy makers, corporate executives, and potential investors from the two countries.

Aside looking at the prospects for Czech engagement in Ghana’s oil and gas sector, the forum will also discuss opportunities in the agriculture and agro-processing sector, a statement signed by John Jinapor, spokesperson to the Vice-President said.

The vice President is expected back home on Friday November 12, 2010.
