President Cuts Sod For Volta & B/A Universities
As the Action Year activities stay on course, His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills will be in the Volta Regional Capital, Ho, on Monday, February 07, 2011, to cut the sod for work to start on the construction of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS).
On Tuesday, February 08, 2011, the Brong Ahafo capital, Sunyani, will be the action spot where the President will be to also cut the sod for work to start on the construction of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).
The construction of the two additional public universities is in line with President Atta Mills’ pledge to create jobs as well as invest heavily in the Ghanaian people.
