President of Ghana, John Evans Atta Mills has expressed delight at the bond of friendship between Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire. He said, the two countries have and continue to share a lot in common.

President Mills made these remarks when a special envoy from Cote d’Ivoire called on him at the Castle in Accra.

The President indicated that he received a call from his colleague, President Alassane Ouattara  three days ago, informing him of his decision to send an envoy to Ghana to hold talks with hm.

Although the meeting was held behind closed door, the President Mills indicated during an earlier remark that he was hopeful that the meeting was going to be fruitful and that it will go a long way to cement the bond of friendship between the two nations.
